We have discovered that living a mindful life, fully conscious and aware of our surroundings and our needs, allows us to heal, grow, and embrace all that life has to offer. In our programs we teach mindfulness-based skills, and practice mindful meditation and other practices. From walking to sitting meditations, guided or not, participants in our programs are able to connect with their inner selves, gain greater awareness, or just connect to being. In this practice we find that being with ourselves not only leads to greater healing but improves our connection to others. Mindfulness is a great way to practice managing emotions better as well as reducing stress.
