Mission and Vision

Center for Mind Body Health is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with a mission to empower people to heal their hearts and minds through the use of group retreats and ongoing community classes.  It is our desire to help people restore and renew the human body and mind through education, transformation, and healing.  It is our belief that most healing happens outside of the office.  Connecting to nature and tuning into our own healing patterns can allow us to heal more naturally.

More specifically we are in the business of teaching skills and practices that will assist people in changing their lives.  Whether it is ongoing mood disorders or bad life decisions, we want to teach you skills that help you create the life you want outside of a therapist’s office or a psychiatric facility.  People all around the world have found help in healing through the practices of meditation, mindfulness based living, yoga, and more structured classes.  Learning to work in the garden and eat healthy foods is another way to help our minds and bodies heal.  Currently we are offering only a few programs because we do not have a permanent spot yet. Once we get a full time location we can extend our services to include gardening, cooking classes, yoga, and more consistent and frequent retreats.

It is our goal in the near future to have a facility specifically designed to incorporate many varieties of alternative healing, including but not limited to yoga, meditation, gardening, life transformational classes, and ongoing retreats.  Our plan is to create a place for healing where you can leave the noise of your life behind and step into the space of quiet, contemplation, love, compassion, and acceptance. We hope to offer organic and whole food meals while people spend their time doing the healing work that is needed to move their lives to a better place.
