Whether you are suffering from a chronic problem, under a great deal of stress, or going through a tough transition, make time to take care of yourself through quiet calm and the healing power of nature.

    Restore and renew
  • Mindful path to healing

Living a mindful life, fully conscious and aware of our surroundings and our needs, allows us to heal, grow, and embrace all that life has to offer.  In our programs we teach mindfulness-based skills, and practice mindful meditation and other practices.

  • Group and individual retreats

Several times a year we hold half-day, full-day, or weekend retreats or coordinate with other programs for retreats.  Retreats focus on mindfulness, meditation and yoga, Mindful Self-Compassion, or general healing.

  • Affordable classes for everyone

It is our wish to offer great healing opportunities to those who would not otherwise be able to participate.

Mission & Vision

Center for Mind Body Health is a non-profit organization with a mission to empower people to heal their hearts and minds through the use of group retreats and ongoing community classes.  It is our desire to help people restore and renew the human body and mind through education, transformation, and healing. It is our belief that most healing happens outside of the office. Connecting to nature and tuning into our own healing patterns can allow us to heal more naturally.

We are in the business of teaching skills and practices used for centuries that will assist you in changing your life. And we want to do this in an affordable way. Whether it is ongoing mood disorders or bad life decisions, we want to help you create the life you want outside of a therapist’s office or a psychiatric facility. Let us help you find your healing and purpose.

The mystery of self-love

The mystery of self-love

June 29, 2017

Many people tell me that it is difficult to love themselves.  I agree, so let’s just drop that idea for right now and go with something different.  There are a lot of people, myself included, who were just born with the idea that they were not good enough.  For some, there were incidents, comments from Read More

Self-judgment: The never-ending strain

Self-judgment: The never-ending strain

June 1, 2017

There is a theme that runs through just about every story with every person who comes into my office for an individual session or for a group program: self-judgment.  We are always our own worst critics.   From beating ourselves up for something we have said or done to harassing ourselves to do better or Read More
